Think You Might Be Pregnant?

We can Help.

When you suspect you’re pregnant, you need answers you can trust. Whether you want to confirm an at-home result or are experiencing early pregnancy symptoms, we’re here for you.

Common Pregnancy Symptoms

Though symptoms like a missed period or nausea can come from health conditions or other factors, it is crucial to know what to look for if you think you’re pregnant. Knowing these symptoms can help you determine whether to take a test.

  • Missed period
  • Nausea (with or without vomiting)
  • Tender, sore breasts
  • Fatigue
  • Frequent urination
  • Bloating
  • Constipation
  • Nasal congestion
  • Moodiness
  • Cramping
  • Food aversions

How does a pregnancy test work?

During pregnancy, a woman’s body produces a hormone called hCG. This hormone is found in blood and urine and, when it builds to detectable levels, produces a positive pregnancy test.

To improve your chances of receiving an accurate result, it’s best to take a pregnancy test after a missed period. Another helpful step is to take the test first thing in the morning (when your urine is most concentrated).

If you have irregular periods, it can be difficult to know when to test for pregnancy. It’s best to take a test at least 21 days after unprotected sexual intercourse. We can help you determine the best time to take a test if you have additional questions.

What We Offer

Her Hope Pregnancy Center can offer you a self-administered, medical-grade pregnancy test. These urine tests detect hCG as early as one day after a missed period and are 99% accurate. You’ll have results in 3 minutes.

Following a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound referral will be offered. This scan protects your health and safety by providing critical pregnancy information and clarifying your options.
